How To Get Your Boyfriend Back (5 Steps To Winning Back an Ex-BF)

Video Summary

In this video, Brad discusses the steps necessary to get your boyfriend back.

Getting your ex back can be accomplished in as few as five steps. They are listed below:

1. Recovery

The very first thing you must do in this process is to get your own emotions under control. You can accomplish this best by taking a little time to do your crying and moping in private. Then, make a deal with yourself not to have any contact with your ex. A no-contact period for several weeks following your breakup will help you whether you plan to move on and leave him/her in the dust or even if what you want to do is to change your ex’s mind and get him back.

2. Make your ex miss you

This no contact period will begin to remind your ex that you’re really gone from his or her life. By literally disappearing from the life of your ex, you will create a great impact but only if you actually do it. It’s difficult to miss somebody or something if they are still there. Don’t contact them by phone or text. Stay away from their FaceBook page and do not drive up and down in front of their house. Give them the chance to begin to realize that there is a vacant place in their life.

3. Make them have second thoughts

Once your ex begins to realize that you were an important part of their life, it is time to begin making yourself even better. Spend some time improving your life. Do fun things and be sure to tell your mutual friends about it. This is not a trick or a tactic, per se. It’s always a good idea to become a better partner or a more attractive potential partner. To do so will make you happier with your life and it will make you much more attractive to your ex.

4. Reach out

Once you’ve had a “time out” from your ex, it will be time to contact him or her. This contact should be short…a minute or two in duration…and sweet, very upbeat and positive. This is NOT the time to go into what went wrong with your relationship or re-hash old problems. This is the time to be playful and fun, thus reminding your ex of what a stellar person you really are.

5. Set up a new first meeting

When the time is right, you’ll be ready to set up a new first meeting. Something non-committal is important. Coffee together or drinks after work would be an ideal time to “catch up” as old friends.

If you want your ex back, keep it fun and non dramatic so that your ex will not feel threatened.
